I loved this, so so much. I didn't know I was looking for something like this until I found it recced on tumblr and BAM! here I am gushing over how beautiful it is.
I love Cas, and your Cas is adorable. I like how he goes so matter-of-factly about his life, his job and his crush on Dean, and the added angsty moments when he feels there's no hope but still, admirably, admits that Dean's friendship can be enough.
When Dean and Cas end up as lovers I'm happy, but when they do so as a direct evolution of a beautiful friendship I'm actually bouncy with joy :)
Also, all the other characters and the way you depicted that are amazing. Especially the dog Misha, brief as his appearance was :D
