TW 2.13 - Exit Wounds

Having read the spoilers/rumours for 213, I think I'm probably a bad person. I was so relieved at there being no sign of Ianto getting killed off that I didn't even care about Tosh and Owen.

And honestly, I still don't care about Owen. Okay, not that I don't care, but he already died. Undead!Owen, while infinitely more personable, is just biding his time, and I fully expected him to get killed off in a permanent way by the end of the season. So I guess I was prepared. I already got my "NOOOOO!" out the first time.

Tosh, though? Give the poor girl a break! I'm not that fond of her or terribly interested in her as a character. Though I am intrigued by her backstory as of Adrift.

But when I was reading that Tosh and Owen die, I was actually grinning, just going 'yay, Ianto lives!' I honestly don't know if I'd be able to keep watching if he got killed.

Also, it's really hilarous to explain Jack's timeline to someone unfamiliar with TW.

Jack's timeline? Tell me about it. My dad was watching "Meat" and "adam" and he sked about the greatcoat. "he am...likes the time period" I said. "He's been there about three times already". Thank God my dad remembers the very first episode of Dr Who and can take that kind of statement without asking "how do you do that then"

(course, when we had the shot of Ianto looking through his diary, my dad 'ah, ADam's not going to be there is he?" and then of the lie-detector 'but it's going to show as truth isn't it" - it's fun watching this sort of thing with my dad!)
