I have an irrational fear of monkeys.

My dream job is impersonating Carl Barat in a Libertines cover band, despite the fact that I am female and play guitar about as well as somebody's pet chinchilla.

I used to be in a Roller Derby league.

I love cheese. A lot. Even the smelly kind. Especially the smelly kind. I regularly threaten to defect to France, but any country that hasn't outlawed raw milk cheese aged under 60 days would do.Yes, I know the cheese law. I love cheese that much.

I am not generally superstitious (in fact, I've been known to break mirrors on purpose for artistic use and used to have an open umbrella as an indoor decoration), but I always throw salt over my shoulder if I spill some.

I have a weakness for terrible, terrible teen movies. Not socially-acceptable Brat Pack stuff (though I love that too). I'm talking about being totally unable to tear myself away from 'She's All That' when it came on TV a few weeks ago.

I am getting tattoo #3 on Saturday. There will be pictures.

I wrote my first fanfic at age 10, though I had no idea what fanfic was. It was a Mary Sue in which my self-insert character was the long-lost daughter of Elvis. It was illustrated. I kind of wish I hadn't thrown it out. I also thank my lucky stars on a daily basis that there was no ff.net in 1992.

I tag...eh. Whoever feels like it. I'm usually late to these parties.

Snapshots by Asrai. (R) Queer As Folk US. I'm in love with this. Your average QAF/TW crossover probably involves Jack and Brian Kinney getting groiny. This does not. This has Justin and Ianto as roommates (it makes sense, don't worry), and a whole lot of mysterious. This is from the person who brought you 'The Night Starts Here' (a.k.a. 'that one where Ianto goes to work at Torchwood Two').
And this just started, but I'm highly excited about it-- The Hogwarts Reunion Is When Everything Changes (And Torchwood Is Ready) by Lilithilien. (NC-17) Because Jack/Draco. I can't wait.

I'm getting my second tattoo next week sometime! I was waiting until I'd finished college for the summer, and this is my reward now!

They're kind of cute. But evil! I've definitely seen an episode of a programme - it could have been Top Gear - where they were driving through a safari place and the car got attacked by monkeys.

Foot tattoos, owie! You're braver than me. My first (a celtic tree) was on my shoulderblade and I whined like a six-year-old girl. The guys at the shop still make fun of me about it even though I was totally stoic for my second one. The new one's going to be this... futuristic cyber-pirate pinup girl...thing. I haven't even seen it yet. Yes, I have a lot of faith in my artist.
