mercyrobot: (roadtrip kiss)
Title: I'll Learn Eventually
Pairing: Dan/Jones
Rating: NC-17!
Words: 2342
Notes: This is Roadtrip shower porn, actually a missing scene from One Day We'll Look Back And... itself that occurs between the last two sections. Which means there is rimming. And irresponsible quoting of the Smiths. Fair warning.
Happy Porn Monday, and happy late birthday to [livejournal.com profile] evil_kingdom, happy actually-on-time birthday to [livejournal.com profile] ftw302, and happy early birthday to [livejournal.com profile] perplexed_angel! It's like, here, I got you a copy of my own favorite record, and you all have to share it! XD But better than nothing, right? And it is actually 300% pornier than what I usually manage, so hopefully there's enough to go round. Thanks for being born, pretties. <3

Title: Wrecking Ball
Pairing: shades of Pete/Dan and Dan/Jones
Rating: R for some angsty dirty thoughts
Words: 4262
Summary: Everyone finds out.
Notes: This is a sequel to Public Pervert by [livejournal.com profile] the_reverand, who has my most massive thanks for playing muse, cheerleader, editor, and general purveyor of brilliance. <3 Anything wrong is all me.
And of course I can't write anything that doesn't have at least a little bit of a soundtrack, so here's Interpol, Wanda Jackson, and The Shaggs.

Think you might be better off without 'Oh, Lonesome Me,' anyhow. )

This Wasn't On My List
Dan/Jones, R, 986 words.
This is for [livejournal.com profile] the_reverand, who I made want Santa!Dan. It was supposed to be for the [livejournal.com profile] boosh_shorts holiday challenge, but it absolutely refused to be 200 words. It also absolutely refused to be the crack I was expecting and turned into a big angsty/soppy Roadtrip wank. :P Not with any actual wanking, though there is a bit of groping. This'll be about 8 months after the end of One Day We'll Look Back And... I think it can stand on its own, but for the uninitiated, it's 7 years pre-series and therefore Dan's a bit less bitter than you might otherwise find him.

Masterlist for this universe is here.

He looks like something off the Island of Misfit Toys. )
mercyrobot: (jones headphones)
This is what happens when Porn Monday and Fluff Tuesday violently collide and wake up to find it's actually Wednesday and they can't find their pants.

It's a missing scene from One Day We'll Look Back And... (Christycrap, it's got its own tag now)

Pretty much self-indulgent dialogue-only non-porn porn. Rated R, I guess? This takes place during the mythical Belfast visit, not that you can tell where they are at all.

Title: One Day We'll Look Back And...
Pairing: Dan/Jones
Rating: NC-17
Words: ~8500
Disclaimer: I am playing with other people's property for fun and no profit.
Notes: Written for the [livejournal.com profile] booshbattle prompt years before the series, early twenties maybe, roadtrip. They're a bit older than that here, though. Welcome to 1998.

My extreme thanks to [livejournal.com profile] the_reverand (whose entire fault this is, really), [livejournal.com profile] silent_fields, and [livejournal.com profile] beansidhe_baby for their help with this, and also a large contingent of LJ and Twitter friends who peeled me off the ceiling more than they should've needed to. Any fail is all mine.

The Nabokov quotation that's mentioned is from this, which has nothing to do with anything except that it's also sort of about a road trip, and what it references in turn is Laurence Sterne's Sentimenal Journey Through France and Italy. There is also a James Joyce bit but that's a spoiler. :) And the cartoon pirate thing is from Spartakus and the Sun Beneath the Sea-- it hadn't been aired in Britain yet so Jones would have only seen the original French version.

This is a portion of the backstory to Someone Like You, but neither depends on the other. Masterlist for this universe is here.

I didn't actually bring you a leek... )

OMG I FAIL AT PORN. Yes, it's porny, but it went and had like, plot and shit (kind of). And I'm not sure it's any good at all, so flist-only. Now public because my flist is smarter than me.

But, um, PORN MONDAY?!?! TECHNICALLY IT IS PORN. AND IT IS MONDAY.

This is the Ned/Vince thing (which is also tangentially a Ned/Rufus thing because I am broken), for which the responsible inspiring parties can either congratulate themselves or heartily facepalm. And dedicated to [livejournal.com profile] the_reverand for her birthday, even though it's wayyyyy less cool than a bouncy castle and may actually be Old Gregg coming out of a cake all scaly and tutu-wearing.

Title: A Hypothesis of Flight
Pairing: Dan/Jones
Rating: PG-13 for language and sexual references
Words: 5266
Summary: Dan does not want to lead a Movement. He doesn't even really want to move.
Notes: Written for [livejournal.com profile] lgbtfest. Prompt: 2158. Nathan Barley, Dan/Jones, The incident with the builder and subsequent article force Dan to come to terms with his own sexuality. It’s a topic that has plagued him for most of his life, and he has continually repressed with alcohol and general cynicism. He decides to finally confide his confusion in Jones, who has always been open about his own bisexuality. Could potentially lead to them questioning the true nature of their current relationship, or simply be written as Jones acting as a mentor of sorts.
Disclaimer/credits: Outcast was a real magazine (created by a different Chris Morris than the one who created the show), but had folded by the time this takes place. My apologies also to The Smiths and The Clash. All recognizable characters are the property of their creators and not of me.
Massive, massive thanks to: [livejournal.com profile] storyfan, [livejournal.com profile] eggnogged, [livejournal.com profile] silent_fields, [livejournal.com profile] waqaychay, [livejournal.com profile] luridlolly, and [livejournal.com profile] the_reverand, for hand-holding, idea-bouncing, cheerleading, and other supportive activities. You are all rockstars, as are my Twitter friends and flist for putting up with my blehhhh. However, any fail is mine and mine alone.

Sorry for the repeato-spam if you've seen these, but I'm not backdating in case anyone else wants to. ETA: Just kidding, I'm an idiot and apparently already put a couple of these up here. Oh well.

Who's a lazy-pants about archiving? Yeah, me.

These were all for [livejournal.com profile] boosh_shorts Challenge 14: Opposites.

Title: Smoke and Mirrors
Pairings: Dan/Jones and Vince/Howard, with a tiny tiny side order of Dan/Vince and Jones/Howard.
Rating: PG-13
Words: ~12,000
Summary: Paths cross, lips do stuff to other lips, feelings are felt, music is made. May contain chavs, made-up publications, a fully intact fourth wall, and peer pressure from Naboo. May not contain Bollo, who would nevertheless like you to know that Sugar Ape was named after him. Set a bit post-series for NB and post-S3 for Boosh.
Notes: Shiny gold stars to [livejournal.com profile] waqaychay for the beta, as well as big fat hearts to [livejournal.com profile] storyfan, [livejournal.com profile] who_is_small, and [livejournal.com profile] random_nexus for viewing this mess in its early stages and assuring me it was not a big sinking failboat.

Or non-fics. Sorry I've been out on the town with other fandoms. I don't know where the word list went or where I got it or even how good these are, but here you go. There a couple instances of Bertie/Other, one of which prequels the Dance Card-verse.

I wrote this for [livejournal.com profile] booshbattle and I figured I'd pop it up here for posterity. The original with 3% more typos is here.
Rated PG for language and minor drug references. 777 words.
Original prompt was Nathan Barley, Dan/Jones, Jones POV in which he snuggles/makes out with unconscious-in-hospital!Dan.

For the lovely [livejournal.com profile] random_nexus-- this is inexcusably late and is my usual long-winded left-field take on the actual request and isn't even properly smutty (or not in any satisfactory way, though there is a smexy part) even though I hinted that it would be and please don't shoot me because ending where it did felt logical. And um, yeah. MADE WITH LOVE.

The request was fluff, snow, hot chocolate, surprises. Holiday plans going all wrong in a way that turns out so very right... which I sort of managed.

This is a late little giftie for [livejournal.com profile] triedunture! I sort of feel like I'm offering a macaroni picture to Rembrandt here, but it's got scarves and gloves (hats are only implied, sorry) like you wanted and it was made with love.
